  We have gotten too used to buying cheap furniture, disposing of it, and then repurchasing it. AND, we have decided it's ok to have us build everything ourselves. Hansen's is where we should be shopping. They carry and amazing selection, and what they have in the showroom is just a small example of the fabrics/colors that each piece is available in. Their furniture has a modern slant, but it's Scandinavian modern so it's not cold and angular, but warm and with a liberal use of natural materials. The pieces my family have purchased have all lasted for a long, long time (some pieces over 10 years now), and the buying experience is always comfortable, helpful, and low key. It's worth spending more on a piece, and keeping it forever, and with the styles available and the quality here, it's easy to build up your house and still be cost effective.
